Trited Innovations is a technology company that specializes in providing solutions for industrial automation. They approached us to design a Worker Management System (WMS) to help manage their growing workforce more efficiently.

04. CHALLENGE
The design goal was to create an intuitive, user-centric interface that would allow both administrators and workers to interact with the system seamlessly. This required balancing complex functionalities with simplicity to ensure that workers, many of whom operate in industrial environments, could easily understand and use the system.
05. RESULTS
The task tracking dashboard uses a kanban-style board for managing tasks, with color-coded priorities and real-time updates. Managers can filter tasks by worker or project for better oversight.
Workers have personalized dashboards to track shifts, tasks, and performance, with simple progress updates and notifications for upcoming deadlines. The attendance system features one-click clock-in/out, tracking hours and overtime, and integrates with payroll.
The mobile-first design ensures easy access on smartphones, with large buttons, push notifications, and streamlined navigation for quick use on the go.
06. PROCESS
Research: We followed a user-centered design process, starting with in-depth UX research to understand the needs of managers and workers. We conducted stakeholder interviews, observed real-world workflows, and used surveys to identify pain points. From this, we created user personas for managers and workers to guide the design.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Using Figma, we developed wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, testing user flows for features like shift scheduling, task management, and attendance tracking.
Usability Testing: Through task-based testing and A/B testing, we gathered feedback from users to refine the design, focusing on simplifying workflows, improving mobile usability, and adding clear visual cues for task prioritization.
Iterative Design: We made multiple design adjustments based on feedback, such as reducing clicks for task assignment and enhancing the mobile interface for workers.
Visual Design: We finalized the design with a clean, minimalistic interface, using color-coded indicators and large, accessible buttons for key actions like clock-in/out and task completion.
07. CONCLUSION
The Worker Management System for Trited Innovations successfully addressed the company’s workforce management challenges by creating an intuitive, efficient, and mobile-friendly platform.
Through careful research, iterative design, and constant user feedback, we delivered a solution that simplifies scheduling, task management, and attendance tracking, while enhancing transparency and worker engagement.
